About CobbleStone Creek Morgans

My first Morgan was Nights Ebony King. He was 12 when he became mine in 1986. CobbleStone Creek Morgans was launched In 1998 with the birth of our first foal, CSCM Gallant Miss. Miss was out of my foundation broodmare Spring House Monica and by Longview Gallant; a 7/8 brother to Longview Sundance. The name CobbleStone Creek comes from my love of collecting "cobblestones" since I was seven. At that age I began riding around on my pony, a Shetland, named Danny. I rode Danny everywhere! I was usually seen riding him with a bucket on a string, so I could remount from wherever my horseback stone collecting adventures took me; mostly the creek behind our family's dairy farm. I still collect stones, I think it is an addiction more than a hobby. I have stones from all of the lower 48 states, a bunch of Canadian provinces, and the Dominican Republic. I tell you this story because I really wanted my prefix to be Cobblestone, but it was taken, as was Cobblestone Creek, and CCM! So a quick capitalization of the "S" in cobblestone and viola, my CSCM prefix was available. But enough about cobblestones, we are here for Morgan Horses!

Our first stallion was Claridge Nobl Manhattan. A 1996 son of Claridge Nobl Lancer out of Claridge Solitaire. We lost Manny tragically at age 8, when he coliced, and was lost despite every effort to save him. Manny sired 10 foals before his loss at such a young age.

Our second stallion was one of Manny's sons CSCM Wall Street. Wally sired two foals before he was gelded and sold as we took a break from breeding.
